Vengeance Road
Houghton Miffin Harcourt 2015

This is one of my favorite books. It had revenge, love, blood and everything else as promised. This was a total page turner and very hard to put down at night (and during class) I also loved that although Kate is so full of hate and revenge it still has some romance I love in books.

I would recommend this book to anyone but especially anyone who loves romancy and bloody books.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!

I did not enjoy the book.Simple as that. I do admit  I thought  the story line was ok, but everything els was not that great. I especially did not like the language. It felt like every other line had a bad word, and I also thought the transistions were not that smooth.

I must say I didn't finish the book, but I gave it a chance and didn't like it.

I  did  not  like  this  book.  The  way  it  was  written  made  it  to  hard  for  me  to  get  through.

Serafina and the Black Cloak by Robert Beatty

Robert Beatty
Serafina and the Black Cloak
Hyperion 2015

I loved the brave and fantastic heroine, Serafina, who is just a bit different than everyone else. And maybe the residents of Biltmore Estate need someone who is different to save them from a mysterious and deadly fiend. If you love the bizarre, and want an interesting cast of characters that will suprise you, then this is the book for you!

Clarion Books 2016

This book was pretty good, but it wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the plot, and I think it really plays into events happening today. Overall, it was a good book.

Lizard Radio by Pat Schmatz

Candlewick Press 2015

I thought that this was a pretty good book, but it wasn't my favourite. The best part had to be the characters, which varied from kind to menacing, but there wasn't an overall plot. It was also a bit hard to understand all of the different ways the characters talked and acted, which took away from the clarity of the book.

Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas

Queen of Shadows
2015

Queen of Shadows was a breathtaking book. It is actually one of my favorites by Sarah J. Maas. She has a way of making every little detail count. Every sentence strives to reach the next goal. She does it in a way that makes you keep reading. If you enjoyed reading the city of bones series by Cassandra Clare then you will absolutely love this series. What makes this book good is how the protagonist, Aelin always makes you think. She also doesn't waste time. Aelin is a character that always makes you wonder which is a great way to make you keep reading. She often surprised me throughout the book with her thoughts and idea's.
