The Death and Life of Zebulon Finch by Daniel Kraus
The Death and Life of Zebulon Finch
Simon & Schuster 2015
Zebulon Finch is an amazing story that intrigues the reader in every way. The grotesque and dark themes portrayed are amazingly well put together to bring the "Hero" that we see to experience every dark turn as he ventures through his life, starting in the 1879, to his death in 1896, all the way to 1941. Finch stands in the shadows of the hidden horrors left in the world to later being part of a world war, and seeming never to know what is next. A great book to read, but beware your senses might get the best of you. This book is not for the light-hearted and caresses a strong vocabulary to emphasize every detail that is explained. Over all an amazing story.
Strong language and gruesome details, not for younger readers.
Rating: 4 Better than most
