Let me start off by saying that this is an adult book, it does have some adult themes in it. One of which is drugs which is a major part of the story. The setting is 50 years in the future when virtual reality has become a thing and people watch tournaments of people fighting to the death gladiator style. It follows a team of 5 in the tournament who's teammate just died by a drug overdose but the tournement has covered it up, not wanting the public to know of how much of a problem this is. This team is forced to recruit a new member or be kicked out of the tourney. One of the main themes in this is balance and how important it is, which is what the main character is struggling with and the new teammate helps her with that. Would highly recommend for anyone who is a gamer or just wants a good read!!

Rating 5:
Hard to imagine a better book
