Where It Began by Ann Redisch Stampler (2 reviews)

Where it Began
Simon Pulse 2012

Beginning with a great lead into the life of Gabby, a girl with a perfect life. Her new look has caught the attention of the most popular boy in school, Billy Nash and before she knows it she is in heaven, and is now Billy's girlfriend. Then, all too soon, she is ripped from her dream world and sucked back into reality after a tragic car accident that turns her world around. Stampler is able to play out the realistic characters throughout the story. She begins the book with a great hook, but during the rising action, it was harder to follow the story and loses the readers attention at times. This is a great book for those who enjoy realistic high school drama, but falls short at times to hold the readers attention. Stampler's book is a an interesting read, but was not the ideal book for someone who enjoys more action packed stories.

this was a bit of a confusing book and you need to be a good reader who can fallow story lines well the girl has a lot of falsh backs to the time of what happend  which was good but the author did not always tell you or hint when those flash back was happing

it was really good just a bit confusing

Rating: 4 Better than most
