Scored by Lauren Mclaughlin takes place in Somerton. A small coastal town thats being used as a trial town by Score Corp. the giant software company that has created a program that is smarter than the human brain and sees everyone and everywhere. The program posts a monthly score for each person based off of how you act and on five major principles. If you score above 90 you are set for life but if you fall below 75 you don't have many options. Imani is a 92 junior at Somerton High with a best friend Cady who is a 72 and falling. Staying friends will hurt Imani's score but that would violate their lifelong pact.

Circle 9
Candlewick Press 2011

Circle 9 was about a girl named Abby. (Although you find out that is not her real name.) At the start of the book Abby wakes up next to a burning building and she doesn't know her name, where she is, or who this boy is next to her. But when the strange boy tells her come with him she goes not thinking twice about what she was doing. Abby doesn't know anything about her past and she finds that frustrating. But as the book continues she has dreams about strange people so she sketches them and she understands who she really is. Sam tries desperatley to discourage her from unveiling the truth about her past.

Girl Of Nightmares by Kendare Blake (4 reviews)

An amazing sequel to Anna Dressed in Blood. This book keeps you guessing until the end. A well-written book that draws the reader in. At first I wondered if the book would be a flop, even considering the first book's own draw. However, Blake managed to again produce a wonderful novel.

Girl of Nightmares written by Kendare Blake was a great book. It was a sequel to Anna Dressed in Blood. it continued the story line from the first book really well. In the last book, Cas, who kills ghosts for a living seeks out a killer ghost who rips her victims limb to limb. But when Cas isn’t ripped apart he wants to know why. [spoilers deleted]. In the second book Cas is desperate to find Anna. He loves Anna and will do anything to get her back. Alongside of his life he keeps seeing Anna. He feels like Anna is giving him clues as to where she is. When he finds out where he is he will stop at nothing to get her. Even if it means giving up his athame. (knife that kills ghosts)

Girl of Nightmares is the perfect sequel to Anna Dressed in Blood. Following Cas through his adventures in this book made me too excited to stop reading. I came up with so many questions and couldn't wait for them to be answered. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves action and ghosts.
