Try Not to Breathe

A very well writen book. Hubbard focuses on a young man who has attempted suicide and how life changes for him. There are some very well thought out plot twists that make the book unpredictable and draws the reader in.

I enjoyed reading this book. I loved how the life stories of these characters entertwined with each other towards the end of the story. This book kept me guessing and thinking of possible outcomes. While reading this story I thought of what i would do given the events. I don't think I've ever read a book that kept me reading and wanting more. Now that I've read the book, I can't wait for the sequal so I can see what happens next.

I really liked this book it kept me on the very edge on if they will be able to stay together or if not. I would really like to tell you the answer to that but it would give the entire book away. You will just have to go read it yourself. I believe this book would be good for the people who enjoy romance and forbidden love. I Enjoyed it very MUCH!

This book is the best book I have ever read. The writing was excellent. I loved the way she portrayed the characters. It is the story of a girl torn between two worlds. She faces angels and devils but good and evil are hard to find.      I can not wait for the next book. I love this author.

This book was so good in the beginning, there was a lot of action and it kept you wanting to read it. Then in the middle, it started to slow down. And the storyline started to become predictable. then in the end, the action started to pick up once more. Overall, this was an amazing book. I enjoyed reading something different from the average fantasy book.

The DAughter of Smoke and Bone

Karou is your typical teenage art student in prag... with vibrant blue hair and the weirdest job ever, collecting teeth for a chimera named Brimstone. Until black handprints start showing up on portal doors. Wishes and alternate dimentions, the perfect blend of funny and suspensful. I loved almost every minute of it. Laini TAylor has an amazing writing style and I'm super excited for the sequel, which this book will have or I might have to hurt somebody, the cliff hanger ending leaves much to be desired later on.

I thought the setting was good, but I wasn't really hooked.  It sounds like a good book, but I guess it wasn't the kind of book for me.    Set in Prague, Czech Republic, where an art student named Karou lives a strange life.  She has no nationality, has blue hair, and works for a man named Brimstone who deals wishes in exchange for teeth, which she collects on her "Errands".  But strange things are occurring, like black hand-prints on doors, and a war that's been secretly going on, and she is in the middle of it.

This book was extremely sad. The things that happened made me want to hate the book, but it was written so well that i love it. i think that this book came out at the perfect time too, because this story shows how the school system is ruled by each district wanting to have the BEST football team and the schools that do have the "best" let those students get away with anything and they get a free ride in life even though most are incredibly cruel people.

Seemed like an average book about sports till later on a steroid pumped football player went crazy and did things. Its also told in alternating voices with different characters...not for the weak minded.

Little, Brown and Company 2011

Forgotten was a great book, a little slow in the beginning, but picks up later on. It's one of those books that a person has to read from the beginning to the end in order to fully understand what is going on which i thought was fun. It had a couple of twists and turns although some of them were predictable, but that kept me more involved in the book. The ending was ok i kind of wish there was a little bit more of and explanation of what happened afterwards especially with London and Luke's relationship.:( Overall it was a fantastic read!:)

London starts having some really  weird experience with disturbing visions. She realizes its time to learn more about her past that she always to be forgetting........ Before it destroys London further.    This book had to do with a mystery a bit of romace, and psychologica drama as well. It makes you think what will happen next in the book. Its a slow but yet a fast paced kinda book. when i read it it was slow, but it slowly works its way up.

The Glass Swallow is a well-written, cute book with a happy ending that shines.  The protagonist, Rain is strong-willed and straight-forward. Peri, a man she meets in her travels, is pulled along by her current.  I loved the books and I loved the characters.  It was a great breather from the everthing-that-can-go-bad-will-and-the-main-character-will-be-screwed.

Golding has once again created a book that holds the interest of the reader from start to finish. I am always wary when I pick up a book from an author I've read before and liked. I dread reading one of their books and finding that I dislike it immensely. This is not the case with this book. 5 out of 5 for a captivating, orginal read.
