Monument 14
Fiewel and Friends 2012

Monument 14 takes place in the near future where technology is only a little more advanced than now. It takes place in a smaller town in the mountains. everthing starts on a normal day to school when suddenly bricksized pieces of hail start raining down. six kids make it into a nearby grocery store and after a huge earthquake a govenment made bio weapon is accidently released. the six kids seal themselves into the grocery store. I thought that this book was very realistic because the technology and the way that there was very little gasoline is a possible future for us. I thought it was well written and I greatly  enjoyed the story. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys apocalypse style novels.

Rating: 4 Better than most
