Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare (3 reviews)
Kaysee C., 16
The Clockwork Prince is a amazing book that is a perfect book for The Infernal Devices series. The book is one that could stand alone but would be a little hard to understand the relationships between the charters. I would recommend this book for anyone that is a fan of the Mortal Instruments series. This book does set up for another book.

Clare has outdone herself! An amazing sequel to the prequel of her original series, The Immortal Instruments. Clare expands on her world of Shadowhunters and gives her readers exactly what they want while still leaving enough mystery for us to get up and pre-order the next book. This second installment in The Infernal Devices took my expectations, crazy-glued them to a NASA rocket, and launched them into space. Needless to day, I have every one of her out-coming novels on pre-order.

Cassandra Clare has always been on my watch list. She writes a book, I know I must buy it. She never fails to impress. Clockwork Prince was no exception. The sequel to Clockwork Angel, Clockwork Prince has an equal amount of Elizabethan tastefulness with a twist of modern passion. I love how her characters seem so human one moment than completely human the next. It makes them easy to connect to and I must say that as a reader when you can find a similarity between you and a character it makes the book that much more enjoyable. It feels like Clare always tries to incorporate a diverse range of characters in her novels so anyone can relate, which takes real skill in my opinion.
Keep writing, Cassy!! I think I would have to hunt down the culprit if you ever stopped. . . You are an inspiration!
