The Death Cure by James Dashner

Darby, 15
James Dasher
The Death Cure
Delacorte Press 2011

Like a brilliant statue made of pure translucent diamonds, this book entreats the reader with its mysterious unearthly shine. Hidden underneath, the sharp edges cut into your soul as the book progresses. As a reader, I found myself right beside the protagonist, empathizing and rooting for Thomas with my whole heart. Pages flew by and I became entranced in a way only a simply great book can cause. As the final book in the Maze Runner Trilogy, this book reaches past the others’ shadows and stands beside them proudly. It wraps up this series without decaying in quality and creates a paradox where you wish for more but also feel that it is complete.

So amazing!!!!!!!!! It blew me away!

Rating: 5 Hard to imagine a better book
