I really enjoyed the first book as it had a sense of mystery although the magic wasn't really original. In this book Spirit and her friends have to deal with the fact that The Wild Hunt was driven away from the school by them and that they aren't even recognized for it. Spirit begins to think that Oakhurst is behind the murders of everyones parents and that they were taken to he school to be more easily killed off. As the School is attacked multiple times more and more evidence points to the fact that the school is ruled by the bad guys. It was a really entertaining book and the sense of mystery draws you in right from the start. It was disappointing that the magic wasn't really a big part of the book and I think the authors should have gone into more detail on it. The ending was satisfying for it being in a series so all in all it was a really good book

Rating: 5 Hard to imagine a better book
