Ashes

An electromagnetic pulse causes most of the people in the world to change into smart cannibals, basically zombies, and it kills many older people. the survivors are left with little to no electronics at all to fight the "changed". This book is the story of Alex, a teenage girl with a cancerous brain tumor who is healed by the pulse and also given strange new abilities. It was a really good book and i liked the originality with the zombies.

Rating: 4 Better than most

Electromagenetic pulses, known as EMPs have gone though the sky  destroying everything electronic  and its killed billions of people. For those who didn’t get killed now in question is who can be trusted and who can’t because they are no longer human. Those who want to know, and those who are desperate to find out what has happened are in for a rude awakening.       In the book you meet a girl name Alex who then meets a young girl name Ellie whose grandfather  had been killed by the EMP. Then they both meet Tom, a young army veteran. Little do they know what has happen to the people did not make it and those who had turned in to something monstrous. Now they will have to use every ounce of courage, and what every survival skills that they have just to survive what has happened....... and must fight what ever comes after them.    Those who like horror, and a creepy eerie kind of book.
