Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly (3 reviews)

In Angel Burn, there are angels that behave like demons. They eat human's souls/life energy while they release toxin, angel burn, that not only creates disease but also makes the human think the angel is their salvation. It was different and very original. Alex, however, knows what the heck they're doing and is hunting them down. He was a great character. Willow Fields was the most kick-ass weird chick who streamed cool at the beginning of the book. I absolutely loved her. All in all, it was a great book and I'm definitely excited to see if the expected sequel will be up to par.

Angel Burn is one of my favorite books from all time. It is a twist on angels, portraying them as evil creatures that prey on human's energy. Alex is a hunter dedicated to killing them but it's interesting to see what happens when he meets a half angel, half human hybrid. Willow has always known she was different and, with the help of Alex, she learns who she is. This book is truly fantastic.

This is definitly worth more than one read.    This is an origional take on angelic beings. As the protagonist deals with her psycic abilities and attempts to save the world, you become drawn into the story and feel connected to the characters.

Rating: 4 Better than most
