I would recommend this book to other people because the aspect of the book is real, well most of it. It makes you think about taking things for granted, like friends, family and freedom. I would recommend this book to people that have been in the penal system because they can relate to it in some way. Solitary is a great read and I look forward to reading the third, Death Sentence.

Rating: 4 Q. Better than most.

Alex is back, recaptured after a daring escape attempt from the furnance penitentiary, and thrown into the hopelesness and despair of the hole. Alex is ready to give up which an unlikely ally shows up and a new plan for escape begins to formulate. Did not live up to the first book in the series.

Rating: 3. Readable.

A solid book but like the first it only feels like a slice of the whole novel, in this case the middle.

Rating: 4. Better than most.
