She's So Dead to Us
2010

Ally Ryan grew up living the dream life. She lived in a mansion, had a group of friends and admirers, and had the perfect parents. However, when her dad loses an investment that costs her and her friend's dads millions of dollars, her perfect life his shattered. When her dad leaves without telling the family, things go from bad to worse. It is a year or two later, and Ally and her mom are moving back to the town she grew up in. But will her old friends accept her? At first, this book looks like another story of girl drama. It is. But, it is enjoyable and I liked it. Ally and Jake were brilliantly written; I could feel their emotions. However, some of the other characters can be slightly fake and over-dramatic. This book was good, and I would definitely recommend it to teenage girls! I hope there's a sequel.

Rating: 4 Better than most
