This book was simply amazing. The sci-fi logo that usually turns me off this genre of books drew me into this time, to my surprise. It is well writtten and intresting.

This book posed a question- are we getting too advanced in our technology? The idea that an artificial intelligence can hijack your mind is a scary idea. The book was very well written and captivates the reder.

Sam Wilson lives in the believable future; there are no hover cars, three handed people or floating cities. But there are differences; for example, Las Vegas was completely destroyed by a terrorist attack, Black Hawks constantly guard New York’s sky, and technology is very advanced. The newest technology involves headsets that tap into your brain for its power; you can travel the internet at the speed of thought. Sam, a very talented hacker, gets caught hacking into the White House database. He is given a choice: work for the government catching hackers like himself or go to jail. Needless to say, he joins the crime fighters. He stumbles upon a secret connected to the brain-technology, a secret that could mean life or death. This was a well-developed story with relatable characters, explosive action and an underlying thread of urgency that does not let you put it down.

I liked this book because I have read other books that have a lot of technology stuff in them, and this one doesn't make you look up and go "What?" because you're not a total computer nerd. It's a good blend of adventure and computer hacking, with plenty of action and guns and stuff. I think thats what makes this book good is that the author has a good way of blending things to make a good well-rounded story. I think it'd be cool to have this book.  I would rate this book a 9/10
