Rune Warriors by James Jennewein and Tom S. Parker

I thought that Rune Warriors was very well written. This is because the word choice was very varied with words like irascible. This helped to better understand what is going on without having to use the same mundane words.
I also liked that the characters were very different as well, specifically Jarl. Most characters are easy to compare to other books, but Jarl is both narcissistic and able to fight at the same time. That is not the kind of character that you see in other books.
The book overall was pretty good, my only qualm being that it seemed that the storyline was a little bit predictable in some places. I did laugh though, when I noticed that they were treating Thor’s hammer like a nuclear weapon. Anyway I thought that it was a very interesting book.
