Disney 2010

I just finished ready this book. Just the title of the book says a lot about what to expect. The book is about a misunderstood suicidal teen who does not speak and wears a neck brace because of her previous failed attempt. Though she never tells anyone, she is planning to do it again.  This time without failure. The book focuses on the 21 days she gives herself to be ready to end her life, and the events leading to her "Day of Determination". Overall this book is a good read and I would recommend it. I read a couple books a year.

Rating 4 Q. Better than most.

The story and its topic is very relatable and the story has great depth    Daelyn has always been bullied and has grown up thinking she is worthless, and because of that she has become suicidal. she tries over and over again to end her life yet there's always something stopping her, and when she finally is determined to kill herself no matter what, she finds a peculiar website. this website actually has tips on how to kill yourself, and unfortunately, daelyn follows its advice. slowly, she plans her own death, until she meets a couple friends in the way. there Daelyn starts realizing emotions in her that were not hate and sadness. Daelyn starts realizing that maybe life isn't so bad.

Describe the most compelling aspect of the book: The fact that the main character Daelyn couldn't speak throughout the book, you get to know her character through her actions and thoughts which builds a strange but wonderful connection with her aspect on life.
Should this be nominated for Teens' Top Ten? Why?Yes It's relateable and very realistic, building an easy connection with the book.
Rating? 5 Hard to imagine a better book

This book was extremely relateable throughout it's depressing features, helping build a relation to what was happening. Although the book showed many of the dark aspects that happen in lives, it was an amazing experience throughout and a great change for readers to experience.

Cover comments: The cover gives a good view into the loneliness of the book and reflects upon it's contents.
