Delacorte Press 2009
Describe the most compelling aspect of the book: That there is a little romance, magic, high school, and popularity, all rolled into one.
Should this be nominated for Teens' Top Ten?Yes
It would be good to show young girls how to find truth in themselves.
Rating? 4 Better than most
Annotation: In this book a girl proves that sometimes you have to be squeezed by a "second skin", to be able to breathe, and live in, your own first.

Describe the most compelling aspect of the book: When Alex tells Sam that he loves her I was so happy because it was so sweet! I always liked Alex and was sad when she kissed Tanner right in front of him.
Should this be nominated for Teens' Top Ten? Yes
This book is good enough for Teen's Top Ten because it teaches people a lesson. It proves that popularity is not what it looks like. It is a girls book and it is fun, sad, and happy all at the same time! Sam learns her lesson and gets some new friends after stealing the key to popularity. It is a very fun book that I could not put down and it was painful when I had to! That is why I nominate this book for Teen's Top Ten.
Rating? 5 Hard to imagine a better book
Annotation: It reminded me a lot of how the popular kids at our school are like.
Additional Comments: I loved the book and could barely put it down! I would read it again without a second thought.
